Reports To: Director of Creative Operations Are you ready to develop your existing skills by working with senior creative staff on a range of innovative projects? We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team! This position is responsible for helping to drive the creative direction and execution of marketing and communications campaigns for a variety of clients. In this role, you help design and create marketing materials for digital, print, social media and other platforms.
Typical Activities:
Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
Producing attractive and effective designs across multiple media and platforms
Designing marketing and communications materials
Supporting the creative team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
Communicating with senior team members to receive feedback
Demonstrating excellent judgment and ability to solve problems
Technical Skills: A junior designer needs a wide range of design and creative capabilities. These include:
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
An understanding of typography, layout and art direction
Ability to see projects through from inception to production
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills with attention to the approval process, timelines, and deadlines.
A background of working as part of a design team
Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
Assists on administrative assignments for the firm as necessary and as time permits.
Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, team members, and vendors.
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in the field through an internship or full-time employment
Preferred: BA/BS in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations/Integrated Marketing/Art Design
