MCCI, a downtown Detroit-based integrated marketing firm, is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, skilled, paid PR and marketing account intern this fall. The intern will help with miscellaneous public relations and marketing support duties with direction and under the supervision of the account director(s). Among the intern’s duties will be:
- Writing press releases, media pitches and marketing content
- Creating media lists
- Creating media coverage reports
- Researching reporters and media outlets & various client-related topics
- Scheduling meetings, creating meeting agendas, taking meeting notes from client calls/meetings
Ideally, the paid intern will work full-time, and we’ll cover parking fees. We’d like the intern to work in our downtown Detroit office at least three days a week and the other two days could be remote if they’re full-time.
