- Social Media Manager: GreenPath Financial Wellness, a Michigan-based national nonprofit financial counseling agency, seeks an expert in social media marketing to join a positive, collaborative and high performing marketing team. - You will champion the implementation of our social media strategy to promote GreenPath to current and prospective clients. You will also be managing and contributing to all target social media channels in an effort to achieve marketing goals of increasing brand equity and online awareness. - You Have:
- A passion for Social Media Marketing, Strategy and Implementation
- 3 years of experience managing social media profiles for medium to large corporate accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in business, other related program, or equivalent business experience.
- Experience managing <$1MM paid social media ad campaigns.
- Proficient expertise with Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient expertise with social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Socialbakers, or Mention.
- Proficient expertise with scheduling and monitoring tools such as CoSchedule, Hootsuite, and Falcon.io.
- Experience with user testing platforms such as usertesting.com.
- The ability to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns.
- Some bonus experience and skills include WordPress authoring, Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation marketing, inbound marketing, and blogging.
- The Day to Day:
- Analyze and evaluate existing and potential social media activities and strategies.
- Conduct, gather and analyze market research to determine social media opportunities and competitiveness.
- Identify, interpret, and capitalize on social media trends.
- Plan, manage, coordinate, and execute all social media programs & initiatives—organic and paid—across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and potentially additional channels (Snapchat, TikTok, etc.).
- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to both spread our brand and our content and links.
- Establish relationships with the online community by identifying key influencers & communities that fit our online strategy
- Listen and actively engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers, leads, and new audiences that don’t yet know us.
- Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success, ranging from Twitter chats, Facebook Live, Facebook polls, Instagram videos, to LinkedIn conversations, as well as the content and links posted through these and other channels.
- Develop benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of social media programs and implement improvements as required
- Work alongside other marketers, education, and content producers to help distribute content that educates our audience.
- Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
- Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers.
- Measure results and optimize the nurture tracks for these segments to convert leads to customers.
- Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
- Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
- Personal interest in staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends, participating in learning activities (webinars, training courses, certifications) and proactively sharing information with the marketing team.
