IABC Detroit Presents:

“Fires, Spoiled Food and the Dreaded Norovirus – Your Dream Vacation on the High Seas”

Thursday, February 27 — 6 to 7:30 p.m.

ASG Renaissance, 22226 Garrison, Dearborn (Garrison is one block off Michigan Avenue between Howard and Military streets.)

  • Dreaming of a cruise vacation?
  • Over 21 million people lived that dream in 2013 as the cruise industry reached an all-time record in cruise passengers.
  • Equally as important were the number of cruise related crises that took place in 2013.  Fires, stranded vessels, failed food inspections and the list goes on.

Join us as we hear from Keith Spondike, Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Silversea Luxury Cruises, as he discusses crisis communication on the high seas – how not to handle a crisis. Spondike has been marketing and communicating to the 1% for over 15 years.  Leading the marketing and communication functions for companies in luxury automobiles, private jets and cruises.
