IABC Detroit Mentor Match
IABC Detroit connects people. We network, we educate, we socialize, we learn from each other.
It’s an opportunity for both new and seasoned professionals to share knowledge, advise, learn, develop new skills, hone old skills and connect.

Goals:
• Bridge gap in the communications industry between new and seasoned professionals.
• Help new and seasoned professionals stay current in industry best practices, expand their professional network and give back to the profession.
Requirements:
• Attend kickoff meeting
• Commit to an in-person meeting with your match at least once every eight weeks for one year. Additional email and phone interaction are encouraged.
Participation:
To be a mentor:
• At least 7 years of experience in the communications field
• Must be a member of IABC Detroit
To be a mentee:
• Less than 7 years of experience in the communications field
• Must be a member of IABC Detroit
Process:

• Match committee will review and pair mentors/mentees based on the alignment of mutual goals and experience.
